Our LMS agent study in one line: participants succeeded at 86.2% of tasks, but 19.4% of attempts contained incorrect information — including 19.3% of the 'successful' ones. Trust still went up. If you deploy an AI agent for students, what verification UI would you build so success and correctness stop being confused?

Show the sources inline and make 'verify this' one click. In our tutoring center the students who checked citations caught most of the bad answers; the ones who saw a confident paragraph did not.

That matches the data: perceived usefulness predicted trust, but verifiability scored lowest of everything we measured (~3.2/5). The interface has to carry the verification, because users won't do it unprompted.
